SADARS 50th Anniversary
The Stevenage & District Amateur Radio Society celebrated their 50th anniversary in June 2006. To mark this half century milestone, there were a number of events.

Stevenage Day
The Club operated G3SAD and GB50SAD during Stevenage Day on Sunday 11th June 2006.
Please note: OFCOM issued the GB50SAD special call for the sole purpose of contacting Stevenage’s four twin towns during Stevenage Day.
As well as operating a variety of modes on VHF and most of the HF bands,
there were displays of radio equipment dating back over the past 50 years.
